Huron In Winter a Black & White Perspecitve

Hiking 14ers in calendar winter can be a chilly but fun endeavor. It was below zero most of the morning, with a high of 11 in the afternoon. The sharp white snow contrasting against Colorado’s ultra blue sky is gorgeous, and supplies a unique look without color. Five of us hiked Huron Peak, Dec. 22, 2017, up Lulu Gulch to 13er Browns Peak, ridge to Huron and down the standard route.
